This AI Usage Policy explains how SEO Butler Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) in delivering our services, the safeguards we apply, your responsibilities as a client, and the rules that apply to automated and AI-driven access to seo-butler.com. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. How we use AI

We use AI-assisted tools to work faster and more consistently, never to replace professional judgement. Typical uses include keyword and competitor research, content outlining and first drafts, rewriting and proofreading, translation support for our multilingual markets, technical SEO analysis (crawl data, log files, schema validation), reporting, and internal quality checks. AI may also be used in our own Website to answer common questions or to help route enquiries.

2. Human review and accountability

  • Every client-facing deliverable is reviewed, edited and approved by a member of our team before it is delivered or published.
  • We check AI-assisted output for factual accuracy, originality, tone, brand fit, legal and regulatory compliance, and alignment with search engine guidelines.
  • We remain fully responsible for the quality of our work regardless of the tools used to produce it. AI is a tool; the accountability is ours.
  • We do not use AI to generate fake reviews, testimonials, expert credentials or other deceptive content, and we will decline requests to do so.

3. Originality and search-engine compliance

We follow search engine guidance on helpful, people-first content. Content we deliver is written for human readers, checked for originality and plagiarism, and is not mass-produced solely to manipulate rankings. Where a specific publisher or platform prohibits AI-assisted content, we comply with that publisher’s rules for placements on that site.

4. Transparency and disclosure

We are open about our use of AI. If you would like us to disclose the use of AI on specific content, or to avoid AI-assisted drafting entirely for your account, tell us in writing and we will document this in your Order. Where a law or platform policy requires AI-generated content to be labelled, we will apply the appropriate labelling.

5. Your data and confidentiality

  • We only use business-grade AI services whose terms prohibit the provider from training models on our inputs, or we disable such training where the option exists.
  • We do not enter your personal data, customer lists, credentials, financial information or other confidential material into AI tools unless it is necessary for the agreed work and covered by appropriate contractual safeguards.
  • AI providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. On request we will list the AI sub-processors used for your engagement.

6. Your responsibilities

You remain responsible for the final use of any deliverable, including reviewing content before publication, ensuring it is appropriate for your audience and jurisdiction, and confirming any claims specific to your business (for example pricing, regulatory statements, medical or financial claims). You must not ask us to use AI to produce content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, discriminatory, or that impersonates a real person or organisation.

7. Intellectual property in AI-assisted work

On full payment you receive the rights in bespoke deliverables as described in our Terms & Conditions. Because copyright protection for purely machine-generated material varies between jurisdictions, our workflow ensures meaningful human authorship and editing in every deliverable. We do not warrant that any particular output is registrable as a copyright work in every country.

8. Automated access to this Website

You may access seo-butler.com through a standard web browser or through well-behaved search engine crawlers that respect our robots.txt file. Unless we give written permission, you may not use bots, scrapers or AI agents to bulk-download, extract or reproduce Website content, use Website content to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine-learning models, or circumvent rate limits, caching or access controls. 9. Limitations of AI
