Nordics & multi-market

Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish links. One account.

Stop running four vendors, four invoices and four quality standards to cover four countries. Local publishers, native writers and one marketplace, with prices visible before you order.

  • 4 Nordic markets
  • 9 markets in total
  • Native writers, not translation
  • 1 invoice

The problem with going market by market

Four countries should not mean four link building programmes.

Most teams end up with a Danish contact who is good, a Swedish one who is slow, a Norwegian list bought from a reseller and nothing at all in Finland. The profile that results looks exactly as assembled as it was. We know, because our own Nordic sites went through the same thing before we had the marketplace.

What running four vendors costs

  • Four price levels for the same quality of placement.
  • Four content standards, one of which is machine translation with the accents left in.
  • No shared view of anchors, so the same phrase gets bought twice in two countries.
  • Uneven pacing: a burst in Sweden, nothing in Finland for a quarter.
  • Admin: four onboardings, four invoices, four people to chase.

What one account gives you instead

  • One inventory covering Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland, filterable by language and price.
  • Supporting articles written by native writers in each language, included in the placement.
  • One anchor and target-page plan across all four markets, so nothing is duplicated by accident.
  • Even pacing you can actually plan a quarter around.
  • One onboarding, one invoice, one team to ask.

The four markets

Written for the reader, not for the translator.

Nordic readers spot translated copy immediately, and so does the publisher's editor. Every supporting article is written in-language by someone who lives in that market.

DK

Denmark: Danish

A small, tightly linked publisher landscape where the same twenty domains get overused fast. Relevance and pacing matter more here than raw volume. Danish content

SE

Sweden: Swedish

The largest Nordic pool and the most competitive commercial SERPs. Room to build genuine topical depth rather than a list of homepages. Swedish content

NO

Norway: Norwegian

High purchasing power, fewer publishers, and prices that reward knowing which sites are worth it. Norwegian content

FI

Finland: Finnish

The market most often skipped because the language is hard to buy for. That is precisely why it is usually the cheapest authority you will build all year. Finnish content

And when you expand again

The same account already covers the next five markets.

01

Asia-Pacific

Japan, South Korea and Thailand, the markets where translated content fails hardest.

02

Latin America and international

Spanish and Portuguese publishers across Latin America, plus English-language sites for international campaigns.

Before you ask

Nordic questions we get every week.

Is the article translated or written natively?

Written natively. A translated article reads as translated to both the publisher’s editor and the reader, and the placement loses most of its point. Where a market needs a supporting article, a local writer produces it.

Can I run all four Nordic markets from one campaign?

Yes, and that is the main reason people move to the marketplace. Anchors, target pages and pacing are planned together, so Sweden does not quietly cannibalise the anchor plan you set for Denmark.

Do you cover Iceland?

Not as a standing market. Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland are the four Nordic markets we hold live inventory for. If you need something outside the nine markets listed, ask, and we will tell you honestly whether we can source it.

What does a Nordic placement cost?

It varies by site, which is exactly why prices are shown per site before you commit. If you want a reference point before creating an account, the backlink price check shows the range a given DR, traffic and niche normally trades in.

I already have a Swedish supplier I like.

Keep them. Most teams start by filling the gap, usually Finland or Norway, and only consolidate the rest once they can compare the inventory and the prices side by side.
